Gulf Extrusions (member of Metal Industries -Al Ghurair Group), a leading global manufacturer of extruded aluminium products, has announced its participation at The Big 5 – International Building and Construction Show, which will take place from November 23 to 26, 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Center, UAE.
The company will showcase an assortment of innovative launches and organize highly engaging activities for visitors, including a live demonstration of the best practices in façade installation – accessory and firefighting equipment, during the course of the four-day event. The Gulfex booth will be located at D121 at Zabeel Hall.
In addition, Gulfex will conduct a Continuing Professional Development (CPD)-certified workshop on ‘Fire Safety in Facades’ on November 25, 2015 at the Abu Dhabi ‘A’ Conference Hall. During the interactive session, it will focus on the importance of good construction and passive fire protection, the need for fire protection in façade design, and key fire safety principles for building envelopes. Moreover, Gulfex will showcase new-age technology for fire safety and sustainable buildings and present an overview of global statistics related to fire accidents to its professional audience.

The Big 5 is an annual show for construction solutions in Dubai and is expected to be visited by over 2,800 exhibitors from all over the world, while in 2014, 80,000 construction professionals attended the show.
