The curtains at Oman’s largest expo on the home building and interiors environment will be unveiled on 7 December, offering customers and visitors an unprecedented opportunity to choose from the most comprehensive display of equipment, products and services ever to go on show under one roof in the Sultanate.
Being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Housing, the Home Show organsied by Global Exhibitions & Conferences LLC (GEC), will take place from 7 to 9 December 2015 at Oman International Exhibition Centre.
Underscoring the government’s backing for the event, this year’s Home Show will be formally inaugurated by Her Excellency AyishaKhalfanJameel Al Siyabiah, President of Public Authority of Craft Industries. She will be joined by high-ranking dignitaries from the government and private sectors as well as prominent figures from the construction, real estate and home décor segments at the formal opening of the Home Show on 7December 2015.
GEC’s flagship trade show will feature a comprehensive mix of products and services, notably furniture and furnishings, bedroom and bathroom sets and fittings, kitchen systems and appliances, doors and windows, home appliances and electronics, wall and floor coverings, lighting and fixtures, garden and landscaping, home construction and building materials and a selection of smart home solutions.
Also showcasing their services will be an array of service-providers catering to all aspects of the homebuilding and homeownership space. They include interior designers, home décor and improvement specialists, and financial institutions offering home loans, among others.

Adding to the appeal of this year’s edition of the hugely popular annual show is a contingent of leading Indian ceramics manufacturers from Morbi an industrial town located in the western state of Gujarat. Seven of the hub’s best-known manufacturers will put on display a scintillating array of ceramic tiles and related products that bear the hallmark of Morbi’s world-class quality.
The exhibition is open for three days from 7 to 9 December. Opening hours for trade visitors and the general public are from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
