In continuation of its partnership with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), Jordan Ahli Bank recently sponsored the “Jacket for Every Student” initiative – a joint effort organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development targeting school students in less privileged areas in the Kingdom.
Through this initiative, Jordan Ahli Bank distributed winter jackets to school students in the areas of Al Rabba in Karak, an endeavor that enjoyed the participation of many of its employees. The initiative reflects the values outlined by the bank’s social responsibility strategy, through which it seeks to make a measurable difference in the lives of Jordanians and to help those less fortunate in securing their fundamental needs.
The management of the bank noted that the participation of its employees in the campaign is a clear indication of the spirit charity and goodwill that mark its internal culture.
The “Jacket for Every Student” campaign also works to gather donations to purchase jackets for students in underprivileged and remote communities in an effort to help their members bear the financial burdens of the winter season.
It is worth noting that Jordan Ahli Bank targets various segments of the local community through its social responsibility strategy, which delivers a host of programs and initiatives geared toward spurring sustainable development outside its primary scope of work. The bank believes in empowering its community members socially and financially, lending particular focus to citizens in less fortunate and remote areas as well as various poverty pockets outside Amman. This initiative comes as part of the bank’s partnership with the Charity Clothing Bank and is the second initiative through which the bank targeted the citizens of Karak, following its collaboration with Save the Children to launch a health awareness campaign to combat anemia in mothers and children.
