Jordan to launch new campaign against polio

Jordanian health ministry has announced plans to launch another nationwide campaign to immunise children against polio, Jordan Times has reported. The campaign, which will be conducted between December 28 and 31, follows “a previous immunisation campaign that was conducted last month,” and will target Jordanian and non-Jordanian children living in the kingdom who are under the age of five years, said the ministry. “The four-day campaign aims at immunising around one million children,” a ministry spokesman said.
