Jordan to probe allegations of cheating in Tawjihi exam

A special committee has been formed by the Jordanian education ministry to investigate a report that revealed systemic cheating in the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi), Jordan Times has reported. The report by Al Ghad Arabic daily and prepared under the supervision of the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism network, showed evidence of leaked Tawjihi questions and answers affecting hundreds of thousands of students whose fate is determined by the national exam. "We will announce the outcome of the committee findings once the investigation concludes," ministry spokesperson Ayman Barakat told the daily.
