Kaloti donates Dhs250,000 to UAE Water Aid Campaign (Suqiya Al Emarat)

The Kaloti Foundation, the charitable arm of Kaloti Precious Metals, one of the world’s largest precious metals refiners and trading houses, announced its donation of AED 250,000 to the Suqiya Al Emarat (UAE Water Aid), a charitable initiative launched during Ramadan by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Kaloti’s contribution to this important, life giving campaign will enable the construction of 50 wells, providing 10,000 people with access to clean drinking water. Launched on June 29th, the UAE Water Aid project aims to provide clean drinking water to five million people in 60 countries across the world.

As part of The Kaloti Foundation’s ongoing support for UAE charitable organisations and good causes during the Holy Month of Ramadan, it has also donated AED 50,000 to the Dubai Autism Center, an organisation that supports people with autism and promotes a better understanding about the condition within society.

In addition, Kaloti has contributed AED 50,000 to the Al Jalila Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation to support medical treatment, education and research; and AED 50,000 to Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs.

The four separate donations make The Kaloti Foundation’s total contribution to charity AED 400,000 during Ramadan, in addition to its on-going international charitable projects.
