Luxury without a doubt

If you’re wondering whether these new Bluewaters will lack the typical luxurious amenities that Dubai resorts offer, fear not.

Everything you look for in an elegant hotel will be there: From a beach club to spas, from business centers to great restaurants.

In a statement, Mark Frissora, President and CEO of Caesars Entertainment explained: “This project represents Caesars’ ability to focus on our strengths in hospitality as well as reinforce our commitment and capacity to establish brands in new global markets.”

They entertain audiences with famous singers like Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias and others.

Caesars’ has made a reputation not only with majestic Roman architecture as you walk around, but also with truly magical shows including Elton John and his band, ABSINTHE (a theatre-in-the-round), Paranormal – Mind Reading Magic, Frank Marino’s Divas (An all-female impersonators show), and burlesque shows.

It is this kind of Vegas exhilarating, ongoing entertainment under one roof that Dubai needs!!

“Meraas is dedicated to implementing the vision of our wise leadership and consolidating Dubai’s status as a global tourist destination in line with the Dubai Tourism Vision 2020,” said Abdulla Al Habbai, Group Chairman of Meraas.

MGM is already in the lead!

MGM is a company known for operating resorts in Las Vegas and around the world.

In March 2017, Bill Hornbuckle, president of MGM Resorts announced the project of building an MGM and a Bellagio in Dubai, saying: “We are excited and honored by the opportunity to introduce our brands in one of the world’s fastest-growing tourist destinations.”

Although the project will take 4 years to be built, Las Vegas was already in town, more than a year ahead of Caesars.

MGM plans a 1,000 room resort, including 10 villas, and a 500,000 sq ft theatre, as well as your usual premium services.

According to a statement from MGM Resorts, the site will “occupy the longest stretch of waterfront ever developed in Dubai” and this along Jumeirah Beach.

MGM and Bellagio are known for theatrical shows like the Blue Man Group Luxor (a silent comical show), hosting great concerts like Bruno Mars, Shakira, Lady Gaga, and magnificent circus shows such as Cirque du Soleil.

Between Caesars Entertainment’s hotels coming in the final quarter of 2018, and the MGM and Bellagio hotels coming in around 3 years, is the Las Vegas rivalry coming to Dubai?
