Lebanon’s industrial exports drop 12% in May

Lebanon's industry ministry has said industrial exports from country continued to fall in May compared with same month last year, The Daily Star has reported. Industrial exports dropped to $255.3m in May 2012, 12.1% lower than in May 2011, the ministry said. The first five months of this year saw a moderate decrease in exports. During that period, exports fell 2.6% to $1.286bn, down by $31m from $1.317bn in same period of 2011, the report said.
