The Lebanese Industry Ministry has announced that the country's industrial exports dropped by 5% year-on-year in June, while imports rose by 31.2%, The Daily Star has reported. Industrial exports during the first half year of 2011 totaled $1.709bn. That figure stood at $1.659bn during the first half year of 2010. Exports in 2011 so far, climbed by 3% compared to 2010, and by 31.7% compared to 2009. Industrial imports totaled $123.1m in the first half year of 2011. In 2010 the figure stood at $113.1m. In 2010, it totaled $104.8m.
