Masria for Cards announced its participation in Cairo ICT 2015 held from 13-16 December at the Cairo International Conference Center under the patronage of H. E. President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.
Amr Rashad, Masria Card s Chairman affirmed the company’s keenness on participating in this important conference on its 19th round as part of the plan for change the company is undertaking throughout 2015. The latest integrated banking and government payment systems will be displayed at the allocated stand of the company at Cairo ICT. The company will also be showcasing its vision of the e-payment system in Egypt and Africa, introducing integrated and fast activated solutions to help the state’s trend in regulating e-payments.
Rashad confirmed that throughout the last thirty years, Masria Card has achieved several successes in the smart card industry, e-payment systems and the entire Egyptian banking sector service, as well as 62 banks in 33 African countries, bringing the total number of Egyptian and African banks using the company’s services to 97 banks in addition to its services to telecommunications companies in Kenya, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
It is worth mentioning that Masria Card successfully participated in the implementation and application of the following national projects in Arab Republic of Egypt:
• Family card
• Fuel Subsidy card
• Subway card (Contactless Cards)
• Railway card
The company will participate in the “financial inclusion” forum’s private meetings, and will contribute to the discussion of prominent issues on strengthening and enhancing Egypt’s national economic growth and how to activate the e-payment system with all its different means in Arab Republic of Egypt.
