To further highlight their commitment to the local community and effectively position their efforts that contribute towards overall national progress and development, McDonald’s Qatar, and in collaboration with Qatar University, has conducted a “Create Your Taste” (CYT) workshop for students from the Masters of Science in Marketing (Marketing Management Class).
During the workshop days, students had the chance to experience the brand live at the restuarants and explore more ideas and ways to develop CYT.
The final presentations were at the College of Business and Economics at Qatar University were 5 groups had the chance to present their ideas to their classmates, instructor, Dr. Nabil Ghantous, and McDonald’s Qatar Marketing Manager Ms. Ghada Kamal, the marketing team and the CYT operations team.
Participation in educational activities reiterates McDonald’s Qatar commitment to not only being a “good neighbor”, but also genuinely involved in the local community. McDonald’s Qatar has set priorities to promote international best practices in Qatar and further support national progress and economic development for all.
Create Your Taste” is a new menu and experience platform offered at a McDonald’s Qatar restaurants and built around the concept of customization. Using a new line of gourmet ingredients, customers can create their own burger in a very convenient way and have it served to them at their table.
Customers are able to place their orders at self-ordering kiosks using state-of-the-art digital screens. They have the opportunity to see their food prepared right in front of them.
To cap off the distinctive and high-tech dine-in experience, tables are outfitted with GPS devices so that food is delivered directly to customer’s tables by a dedicated service team.
