MGM records 10 per cent increase in number of visitors in first three quarters

Showcasing its popularity and unique offerings, Muscat Grand Mall is pleased to report an impressive footfall of over 800,000 shoppers as on September 2015, including the holy month of Ramadan and the festive periods of Eid ul Fitr and Eid al Adha.

The Mall is pleased to announce that it has witnessed a 10 percent increase in footfall as compared to the same period last year.

As one of the Sultanate’s most popular retail and leisure destinations in Muscat, housing many brands unique to Oman, the Mall has had an allure for local shoppers as well as visitors to the Sultanate.

To cater to the local customers as well as visitors from across the GCC, the mall organised daily activities that entertained and delighted visitors of all ages.

Throughout the year and especially during special occasions, Muscat Grand Mall has been a popular hub for events. During Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr, shoppers had the opportunity to make the most of MGM’s ‘Shop and Win’ contest running between May 15 and July 31, with customers who spend OMR 20 or more getting the chance to win one of four Chevrolet Cruze cars. Moreover, during Eid al Adha, the Mall organised a Hajj educational event for children. Additionally, a number of interactive competitions, activities and initiatives were organised to engage visitors to the mall.
