More than 30% of teachers in Qatar unqualified – report

The Supreme Education Council (SEC) has announced that more than 30% of schoolteachers in Qatar are not qualified to teach, The Peninsula has reported. The SEC report has said that 31% of teachers in the Gulf country have no formal qualifications to teach, including 35% of teachers who are in Independent Schools, 31 percent in semi- independent schools (which are now converted into Independent Schools), 30% in private Arab expatriate schools and 19% in international schools.
