NWC has introduced a new service to transfer meters electronically for its customers in Riyadh and Jeddah via its e-branch (www.nwc.com.sa). The service shall be executed after the customer submits an application to transfer the meter in his name.
NWC explained that its e-branch in Riyadh and Jeddah has received more than 6,000 requests for adding a new owner, and all requests with valid documentation have been executed.
Eng. Naif Al-Ossaimi, Executive Director of Customers Experiences, said “This new service is important because many properties are sold without notifying NWC and transferring the meter. Previously, customers had to visit Customer Services Centers to apply for transfer of ownership. However, they will not have to anymore after this service was introduced. They may submit the request from any computer, tablet or mobile phone and it will be executed within one working day.”
Regarding the method of application, Eng. Al-Ossaimi explained that “Customers should register on the e-branch, add the account number of their real estate, define the type of addition as owner and attach proof of property ownership and copy of ID.
Eng. Al-Ossaimi said “This service is an example of multi-faceted facilities offered by NWC to provide a better customer experience. He said this service is an electronic package, part of a comprehensive system, launched by the Company to serve customers and spare them the trouble of visiting Customer Services Centers to submit their applications.”
