Oman bank assets grow by 8.6% in July

The Central Bank of Oman has announced that the assets of commercial banks in the Sultanate rose by 8.6% to OR16,573.8m in July, compared with OR15,263.6m at the end of July 2010, Oman Tribune has reported. The CBO statistics have shown that cash in hand and deposits of commercial banks with the CBO amounted to OR1121.4m against OR954.6m in the same period last year.
