Oman Flour Mills inks deal to franchise 70 Atyab bakery stores

Oman Flour Mills Co (OFM) has awarded an international consultancy group the contract to develop a franchise model for around 70 outlets and cafes, scheduled to be established all across the sultanate, Times of Oman has reported. The planned outlets, which will sell fresh snacks, bakery products and a collection of beverages, will help promote an environment of entrepreneurship in the Wilayats of the sultanate, said OFM. "The franchise scheme is expected to create and nurture an entrepreneurial spirit among young Omanis and provide a sense of ownership and pride that will bolster economic growth," said business development manager at the Atyab Investment Co, the investment arm of OFM, Khalifa al Mashaikhi.
