The inaugural Back2Business Oman, an event designed to develop new business relationships, attracted over 450 guests from across the country at Grand Hyatt Muscat last week. The sold-out event, in collaboration with Bank of Beirut, brought together business owners, experts, entrepreneurs and thought-leaders based in Oman as well as abroad, and to the delight of its organisers the event was a tremendous success.
“We were extremely pleased with the turn out and subsequent connections made between representatives who attended this event,” commented Mr. Maurizio Monte, member of the Back2Business Oman Organising Committee. “The ability to network effectively is an essential tool for success for any business, small or large; it was exciting to see the beautifully decorated venue buzzing with professionals, all eager and willing to identify opportunities, and we are proud to have provided the ideal platform.”
Back2Business Oman garnered support from many leading brands and organisations, including Bank of Beirut, Port of Sohar, Swiss Air, the Grand Hyatt Muscat, Mazoon Printing, Business Today, DHL, Arab House, Europcar and Bright Lights.
During the event Mr. Ramy Zambarakji, Managing Director of Bank of Beirut, Oman, commented; “Back2Business provided an excellent opportunity for Bank of Beirut to present to existing and prospective clients our services in Oman, as well as to strengthen its current position as a key cash management player. We were proud to support and be part of an event that brought together so many dynamic business professionals from a vast range of industry backgrounds and organisations under one roof.”
Back2Business Oman has already proved so successful that planning for next year’s event will shortly be underway. “This was our first year and the feedback we have received has energised us even more to do great things in 2015. We are looking forward to next year’s gathering,” concluded Mr. Maurizio.
