Oman's Waljat College of Applied Sciences (WCAS) has announced plans to expand its infrastructure to start new academic programmes, Oman Daily Observer has reported. The expanded premises, which include a third academic building, a new workshop facility, and a new cafeteria, are scheduled for completion by March 31. The college is to start new academic programmes at undergraduate level in computer science. A Master level programme in Information Technology is also being planned with the support of the parent university, India's Birla Institute of Technology.
