As part of the company’s efforts to constantly improve Security & Safety measures and enhance its Emergency Response capabilities, Omran held a regular fire drill in its headquarter at Al Khuwair in collaboration with the Civil Defense & Ambulance Services. 18 Omran employees have successfully participated in this drill and proved their capability in handling emergency evacuation, and to provide Early Intervention Emergency Services including basic firefighting, evacuation procedures, first aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
The employees undertook extensive training in order to ensure safe staff evacuation and to be able to interact with emergency services in the event of unforeseen crisis.
Eng. Abdul Wahid Al Farsi, VP External Affairs at Omran, said, “Omran prides itself on adopting a holistic approach to health, safety and security while implementing efficient systems to avoid incidents at the work place.” He added, “Our employees are our most valuable asset and ensuring their well-being remains our number one priority.”
