Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the international Ooredoo Group, has recently hosted a lecture presented by Lieutenant Hassan Al-Enezi from the General Department of Civil Defence – Ministry of Interior, to raise awareness and train Ooredoo employees on emergency evacuation processes.
The lecture was conducted at the company’s headquarters and attended by a large number of Ooredoo’s employees and Committee Wardens.
This lecture comes in line with the internal procedures and processes carefully applied and monitored in all Ooredoo Kuwait premises, safety and security of our employees comes as a priority and a mission that we work hard to fulfil.
Additional trainings will be conducted in the very near future to further enhance our internal security systems and emergency evacuation plans.
Ooredoo Kuwait has a firmly applied security procedure and fire drills that includes a pre and post activity and fire alarm tests. The company also has a procedure for managing emergency evacuation that applies for employees, customers, vendors, contractors and visitors and has dedicated trained fire warders in each floor of the building to lead any evacuation that may occur and direct individuals to the assembly point.
The company also has a health and security management procedure which complies with the State of Kuwait related health and safety laws and regulations.
