Private schools in KSA warned against replacing syllabi

Saudi education ministry is to penalise private schools that have replaced Saudi school syllabi with their own without its permission, Arab News has reported, citing a source from the ministry. Private schools were also warned against launching enrichment programmes without seeking permission from the general administration. Guidelines for alternative syllabi and enrichment programmes for private schools had been released by the ministry in 2009, describing how the schools can gain accreditation for alternative syllabi and enrichment programmes.
