Qatar National Bank (QNB) has posted a 26.7% increase in quarterly net profit, as loans increased and financing activities grew during the course of the year, Reuters has reported. The Gulf country's largest bank made a third-quarter net profit of QR1.9bn ($521m), compared with QR1.5bn in the same period last year. Loans and advances and financing activities rose 43.9% at the end of September from the prior year period. .
