QNCC hosts 12th edition of Project Qatar

Project Qatar is the 12th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition

Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), operated by AMLAK Holding, is hosting Project Qatar 2015, for the second consecutive year, from May 4-7.

Project Qatar, the 12th International Construction Technology and Building Materials Exhibition, established as the most important exhibition for highlighting the latest products and service offering for Qatar’s rapidly expanding construction industry and the destination of choice for regional and international industry professionals has, once again, chosen QNCC as the venue of choice for its popular exhibition.

QNCC is the ideal candidate for hosting and organising an event of this scale, not only in Qatar, but throughout the region, thanks to its massive size and wide area, as well as the state-of-the-art facility. By extending the most advanced connectivity, spacious reception areas and lounges, and bespoke hospitality services, QNCC ensures maximum performance, and an invigorating experience for participants and attendees alike

In addition to Project Qatar 2015, two concurrent events; Qatar Stone Tech 2015 and Heavy Max 2015, will take place at QNCC.

Speaking of the Centre’s capacity for concurrent events Ken said, “Venue of this size is able to accommodate complementary events ensuring a one stop shop for industry professionals. Our customer is at the core of our business and having the ability to add value by providing top of the range services that enable a variety of activities and concurrent shows, which will increase the benefits and opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike, is what drives our business.”

Given its considerable size and its state-of-the-art technologies, QNCC competes with international venues and provides a superior experience for our participants and attendees. The facilities and size of the venue will allow us to, once again, host a world-class edition of Project Qatar, including the exhibition, our new PQ Workshop Series and the PQ Business Intelligence Series. The Show, which takes place from May 4–7, will occupy 7 halls of QNCC, in addition to an outside area, where the heavy machinery will be displayed, totaling 41,500 square meters of exhibition space. Project Qatar 2015 will feature 1130 exhibitors representing 2000+ companies and brands, and 21 national pavilions from 40 countries.”

QNCC has an exhibition area of over 40,000 square meters, and a main conference hall which can accommodate up to 4,000 people. In addition, the centre’s theatre can accommodate 2,300. The venue also comprises of three purpose built auditoria, 52 meeting rooms, each equipped with state of the art AV capabilities, and a spacious outdoor exhibition area. A multi-level covered parking facility with space for 3,200 cars, 43 coaches and 59 taxis is located adjacent to QNCC. It is connected to QNCC via an air-conditioned passage with 270-metre long “travellators”.

Project Qatar 2015, will be taking place at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), from 4 – 7 May. The show provides a vibrant platform for buyers and suppliers to interact and drive future developments in Qatar’s multi-billion construction sector.
