RERA says salary certificate not required for tenants

Dubai’s Real Estate Regulatory Agency (Rera) has denied a media report that said tenants are required to provide an income statement, in addition to the customary documents, before leasing a unit in the emirate, Gulf News has reported. “Passport copy, UAE residency and Emirates ID is all that’s needed,” said senior manager at Rera’s Real Estate Relations Management, Mohammad Khalifa Bin Hammad. “No salary certificates are required.”
