Samsonite has announced plans to expand its operations in the Middle East by opening 23 more outlets, Oman Daily Observer has reported. The move will raise the current number of 52 stores to a total number of 75 within the next 12 months, Dr Ramesh Tainwala, president of Samsonite Asia Pacific and Middle East, said. Two of the planned outlets will be in Oman, he said. Currently, Samsonite has a flagship store in Muscat City Centre, three shops in Khimji Megastore in Ruwi, Qurum, and Madinat Sultan Qaboos.
