Saudi Arabia to crackdown on beauty salons

Authorities in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province have said that penalties for opening a beauty shop without a licence top the list of punitive actions workshops face for violations, Arab News has reported. The list of violations also includes employing women workers with no health certificates and poor general hygiene conditions, the fines for which stand at SR500 for the first time and SR2,000 if the violation is repeated.
