Saudi’s Jubail to see $27.7bn industrial projects

Saudi Arabia's Royal Commission (RC) for Jubail and Yanbu has said the eastern industrial city of Jubail is set to see the establishment of 16 'mega industrial projects' involving a capital investment of SR104bn ($27.7bn), Arab News has reported. The projects include four industrial complexes of Arab Petrochemical Co, an affiliate of Sabic, involving an investment of SR16.88bn in addition to an Aramco industrial complex requiring a total investment of SR68bn. Sabic's National Industrial Gas Co is also building a plant in the city with an investment of SR7bn while Saudi Acrylic Co will set up a plant investing SR4bn, the commission said.
