Shell offers business training to over 5,000 Saudi youths

Royal Dutch Shell has announced more than 5000 aspiring entrepreneurs from Saudi Arabia have taken part in the company's "Intilaaqah" programme, Saudi Gazette has reported. Active in over eight countries across the Middle East, the programme is an enterprise development scheme aimed at encouraging young people aged between 16 and 30 to start their own business. It is part of Shell's global LiveWIRE programme, an initiative first launched in 1982 to address high unemployment among youth in Scotland.
