Shop Bahrain, the Kingdom’s largest event, announced its partnership with Al Riwaq Art Space paving the way for the launch of the much-anticipated series of events held in Adliya Block 338 from December 10th to January 9th. The unique event aims to position the Kingdom as an attractive touristic destination.
The month-long event includes Al Riwaq’s ‘The Nest’, a series of events held on the weekend in celebration of the region’s unique passion for arts and culture. It features a bazaar including fashion, jewelry and accessories, glass, ceramics, furniture, and much more from talents in Bahrain and across the region. The Nest also offers live music performances, film screening and activities for kids.
Food lovers can also enjoy the ‘Taste Tour’ held daily throughout the duration of the event. Members of the public will have the opportunity to taste the best sampler dishes of the restaurants located in Block 338. Participants taking part in the Taste Tour will get the chance to enter a raffle draw besides voting for their favorite restaurants to win ‘The Best People’s Choice Award.’
Commenting on the partnership, Events & Entertainment Manager at Shop Bahrain, Reem Tawfiqi said: “Last year, the events held in the heart of Adliya played a major role in the success of the inaugural edition of Bahrain Shopping Festival.”
“Al Riwaq ‘The Nest’ has proven to be the perfect platform to support the emerging talents from Bahrain and the region and is in line with the overall vision of Shop Bahrain. The ‘Taste Tour’ was another successful event and are happy to launch it as a part of Shop Bahrain activities,” she added.
Shop Bahrain will also have a stand at Al Riwaq ‘The Nest’ in order to further promote the activities and promotions held as a part of the Festival. Shop Bahrain aims to celebrate the Kingdom’s culture and hospitality while providing a unique shopping experience for residents and visitors along with a number of promotions, offers and great prizes. The30-day celebration will be launched on December 24th 2015 and will run until 23th January 2016.
