Simstream acquires Sharjah company

Simstream launches new ‘SimstreamT&D’ division as part of regional expansion plan

Simstream Group (Simstream), the specialist network and IT security solutions consulting company with operations in Dubai and Paris, has announced its acquisition of ‘Design Days’ – a software developer and applications company, based in Sharjah, UAE, and Kochin, India.

Based on the acquisition, Simstream has also announced the launch of a new division, SimstreamT&D (Technology & Development), to integrate technology across the group and support its growing customer base in France, Africa and the Middle East. SimstreamT&D comprises a team of developers and engineers working across a range of technology platforms including online, Cloud, ERP and mobile app development.

Our aim is to scale-up our business rapidly from an established customer base and this acquisition and launch of our new division will enable us to build faster profitable growth. We will continue to look for additional selective acquisitions to add further complementary resources to the group.”

Simstream Group was founded in France in 2000, specializing in complex IT projects and in multicultural environments in challenging markets, where an external perspective and innovative approach is required. The service portfolio comprises IT governance, project management and consulting.

Simstream has worked with multinational clients in more than 30 countries on projects including the Dubai Tram, in the UAE, in sectors from telecoms to banking and finance, energy, aviation, industry and services. The company opened an operation in Dubai in 2013 and is continuing its expansion programme from the two bases in Paris and Dubai, with the aim of growing the business in Europe, as well as selectively in parts of Africa and the Middle East.
