The equity market index of the Abu Dhabi stock fell by 0.10 per cent to 4,530.20 points on Tuesday, January 27.
Abu Dhabi National Energy Company surged 3.90 per cent to AED0.80. Dana Gas, the Sharjah-based regional gas explorer, closed unchanged.
Union National Bank (UNB) lost 1.25 per cent to finish the session at AED5.53. The lender said earlier in the day that its net income rose 16 per cent year on year in 2014, amounting to AED2.021bn ($550.68m) amid a cost-income ratio of 27.3 per cent, “one of the best in the UAE”, said UNB.
