TECOM Investments, a member of Dubai Holding and established master developer and operator of world-class industry focused business communities, has been recognized for its IT service management system by Lloyds Register, having achieved the ISO 20000:2011 certification.
This certification represents TECOM’s high standards, service and management across its IT solutions, and managed services provided to customers.
In line with TECOM Investments’ commitment to provide world class services to its customers, the Company chose to seek this certification last year in order to demonstrate excellence and best practice across its IT Service Management systems,in partnership with Intertec Systems, who provided consultation to ensure all of the ISO requirements were fully met.
TECOM carried out acomprehensive two year transformation programme to develop an integrated management system across its IT department, in order to enhance its service as well as improve ISO standards.The programme included defining and rolling out the Service Management System at TECOM Investments where it achieved very good results in improving the existing processes.
The management system was streamlined to achieve a unified and integrated management system comprising of ISO20000:2011, ISO22301:2012 and ISO27001:2013.
This award follows the ISO 22301:2012 certification TECOM received in March this year for its business continuity management system, making it one of the first organisations in the UAE to achieve this rating.
