“Many people out there would love three-day or even four-day weekends,” he writes. “There are many people out there who would want to job share, and would love longer holidays. Everyone would welcome more time to spend with their loved ones, more time to get fit and healthy, more time to explore the world,” he says.

According to statistics platform Statista, Germany is the most efficient country, with German employees working for only 1,371 hours per year (26 hours a week).

The country at the other end of the scale is Mexico with 2,246 working hours per year (43 hours a week).

A research conducted by AMEinfo shows that working hours in most of the GCC stand at 48 hours a week.

You probably dream of working 4-5 hours per day or even 3-4 days a week.
