Turkish Islamic bank eyes $300m sukuk

Turkiye Finans, a Turkish Islamic bank in which Saudi Arabia's National Commercial Bank holds a majority stake, has said its net profit rose 61% year-on-year to $80.3m in the first half, Reuters has reported. The bank has also plans to issue a $300m sukuk in the next six to nine months, the lender's general manager Derya Gurerk told the news service.
