Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, the UAE’s Minister of Economy, discussed cooperation prospects in different fields with his Hungarian counterpart, Mihaly Varga.
The meeting was held in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, during the visit of an Emirati economic investment and trade delegation, headed by the Economy Minister, with the participation of a number of government officials and representatives of the private sector and others, UAE based Al Bayan Newspaper reports.
During the meeting, the ministers focused on discussing investment cooperation possibilities and entering into partnerships in sectors such as innovation, renewable energy, agriculture and food industries, and water resource management.
They stressed the importance of activating cooperation between private sectors in both countries and increasing trade exchange, as many Hungarian companies showed interest in entering Emirati markets.
Both sides reviewed investment opportunities in all sectors and cooperation development in investment projects. They also encouraged the private sector and businessmen in the two countries to benefit from investment opportunities in both UAE and Hungary.
Al Mansouri states that the UAE enjoys distinguished and strong bilateral relations with Hungary on all levels and calls for the need to capitalise on these relations to develop economic cooperation and increase the volume of trade exchange.
