Six international exhibitions to be held in Hong Kong during January-March 2016

The UAE ranks 15th among Hong Kong’s top trading partners, according to Abdul Aziz Nasser, deputy director, Middle East and Africa at Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

Nasser, as quoted by the UAE news agency WAM, added that the total volume of mutual trade between the UAE and Hong Kong had reached $7.4 billion during the first nine months of this year.

Hong Kong’s exports to the UAE amounted to $4.4bn, while the value of Hong Kong’s imports from the Emirates amounted to $3bn.

Nasser said that six international exhibitions, which would provide an ideal platform for traders and suppliers from the UAE to expand their business into new markets, are scheduled to be held in Hong Kong during January-March 2016.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 as the international marketing arm for Hong Kong-based traders, manufacturers and service providers.
