UAE Masterminds Education reveals its recruitment drive

Pioneering enrichment programs offered by nursery and kindergarten require teachers with specific and enhanced skills

Hot on the heals of its official Dubai launch, with operations announced as starting from September 2015, Masterminds Education has today revealed that its recruitment drive for the ‘best-of-the-best’, in terms of teaching staff, is near completion.

Masterminds Nursery and Kindergarten will be a first-of-its kind concept in the UAE, offering an integrated early years curriculum, for children from 18 months old to six years (KG2), and has also committed to offering the lowest student-to-teacher ratios, or class sizes.

“We have integrated the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum with our pioneering enrichment programs, which nurture an intellectual, physical and social excellence in all children,” said Tania Siddiqi, Co-Founder and Director of Masterminds Education.

Masterminds Education’s enrichment programs are the product of over 60 years research and development by a globally renowned and pioneering US-based institute in child brain development – the founders of which include Nobel Prize laureates.

“With an additional sophistication to the standard curricula, it was important the teacher recruitment process not only identified excellent candidates, but those who offered something unique, different and have proven to have gone the extra mile,” added Tania.

For example, teachers from Masterminds Education’s partner schools have been nominated for the Global Teacher Prize and Teaching Medal of Honor, for their outstanding contributions to methodologies and innovation in education.

“Simply put,” added Tania, “This makes our teacher recruitment criteria one of the most stringent, worldwide,” she concluded.

To date, these enrichment programs have been successfully taught in Italy, Spain, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil, Australia, Mexico and the Unites States. Masterminds Education is the exclusive provider of these programs to the Middle East region and first to offer them in Dubai.

“While we are certain we have the most sophisticated and extraordinary learning outcomes of any nursery and kindergarten, these programs can only be delivered through the dedication of the most highly qualified and passionate teachers. We are now confident we have appointed the best-of-the-best,” added Tania.

In addition to its unparalleled standards for both student success and highly qualified teaching staff, Masterminds Education has also stated a commitment to recruiting the most experienced and motivated professionals for its leadership team. To this end, it was also announced today that Claire Hagestadt has joined as Center Manager.

With over 20 years of teaching experience across the globe, including some of the most reputed schools in the GCC region, it was also discovered in the recruitment process that Claire was an admirer of the programs, offered by Masterminds Education, having studied the literature over 10 years ago.

“By bringing together the best methods and learning environments alongside the best educators, Masterminds Education is able to ignite that innate love for learning all young children have. We consider ourselves guardians of this precious flame and that it is our responsibility not only to keep it burning brightly, but to keep it replenished for the decades ahead,” concluded Tania Siddiqi.

Masterminds Education, is currently welcoming enquiries for enrollment for children eighteen months to three years, who can progress with the school till they turn five or six; however, spaces are filling fast as, according to management, half the allocated numbers for the first year have already successfully been filled.
