UAE-based interior contractor Depa has won its biggest contract to help to complete Doha's new international airport, The National has reported. The Dhs929m ($252.9m) contract involves fitting out 27 lounges in the airport. With the new deal, the firm's backlog jumped to a record Dhs3.9bn, up from Dhs2.3bn at the end of June. The increase was due in part to a "significant pick-up" in projects that previously had been delayed, Depa said.
