VIVA, the Kingdom’s most innovative telecom provider, was presented with the ‘Best Application for Smart Devices’ award at the eGovernment Excellence Award 2015 held recently in Bahrain.
The ‘Best Application for Smart Devices’ award was given in recognition for the successful deployment and launch of VIVA’s innovative mobile self-care app, VIVA BH. The app offers customers unrestricted freedom to access and manage their accounts and stay connected with VIVA’s latest product and service offerings and enables them to do everything on the move – from paying bills and viewing mobile usage to consumption and locating their nearest stores.
The VIVA app garnered overwhelming response from its subscribers with over 62,000 downloads within nine months of its launch combined with positive 5-star rating for its Blackberry version, 4+ and 4.1 star rating for iOS and Android versions respectively. Moreover, with 516 downloads per day with a total of more than 40,000 downloads by Android users, the iOS download version of the VIVA app reached over 22,000 with a daily average of 100 downloads. Additionally, its customer-friendly features including Quick pay, Account details, Support channel, Products & Services were well-received by VIVA customers.
Commenting on the award, Eng.
