wasl Asset Management Group has commemorated International Worker’s Day with a charitable initiative to support a substantial section of the city’s key workers.
The organisation, one of the UAE’s leading real estate companies, utilised the May 1st date to partner with the Dubai government’s Department of Social Affairs and Charitable Activities to at the company’s Muhaisnah project under the scope of wasl’s ‘Mobile Suqyah’ initiative.
wasl’s activity saw around 4,500 meals distributed to construction personnel which comprises 23 buildings and a mosque in conjunction with the International worker’s day. The lunch and cold water hand-outs came, by a number of staff from wasl and senor representatives who were keen to participate in the event.
The activity also included wasl’s staff laying the foundations to build a mosque at the project who donated to build them mosque.

This initiative is a modest gesture towards their dedication and devotion to deliver wasl’s message in developing integrated residential communities which supports Dubai’s vision and offer complete residential solution which caters to most of Dubai residents’ needs.” said Nabil al Khaja, CEO, Project Management, wasl Asset Management Group.
wasl’s Mobile SuqyahCSR activity is being carried out in stages, with subsequent hand-outs taking place at two more wasl locations in the following days,which are Dar wasl in Jumeirah and wasl district in Deira, bringing the total number of meals delivered to 9,000.
