Western International plans to have 50 Nesto outlets by 2016

UAE-based Western International Group (WIG) has announced plans to spend Dhs2bn on expanding its Nesto-branded retail network, as the firm opened its 30th hypermarket at Al Buteena, Sharjah, Khaleej Times has reported. The first phase of the plan will see the group increase the number of its outlets across the region from 30 to 50 in three years, said group chairman, K P Basheer. The expansion will enable the group, which has a turnover of more than Dhs1bn, to boost its business by 50% in three years, he said
