Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, concluded its main sponsorship of the 10th edition of GulfRun, the region’s most popular motorsport activity. The conclusion of this year’s GulfRun activities was marked by a final race that was held at Bahrain International Circuit, which saw an impressive participation of motorsport enthusiasts from across the region.
Zain’s sponsorship of the latest edition of this unique motorsport event is in line with the company’s belief in supporting the youth and sports sectors, and encouraging the various sporting initiatives that cater to young people in Kuwait.
GulfRun is considered an ideal and safe alternative to street racing, which threatens the lives of many people, many of them young drivers, every year. Motorsport enthusiasts were able to showcase their talents within professional and certified grounds during the final race at the Bahrain International Circuit, in addition to having taken advantage of the opportunity to gain valuable insights with the help of qualified trainers and experienced professional instructors.
The latest GulfRun event in the Kingdom of Bahrain was considered to be a true test of participants’ motorsport skills, where they had the chance to take part in several training procedures in preparation for the final race that was extremely popular with professional and amateur racers alike.
To promote GulfRun in Kuwait before the event, several activities were held including an exciting Sport Cars Show that took place at 360 Mall, where participants showcased their exquisite high-speed cars and thrilled visitors. Additionally a Karting Endurance race was held at Kuwait’s SIRBB Circuit over a straight 24-hour period as part of the program that attracted a large, thrill-seeking crowd.
