Egypt housing agency planning $863m local bond

Local bonds valued at EGP5bn ($863m) are set to be offered by Egypt's state-run New Urban Communities Authority, Arabic Al Mal newspaper has reported. The agency plans the offering after it decided to cancel a Eurobond, Safwat Ghanem, the agency's deputy chairman said. The agency sells land to investors for real-estate projects.
