Emaar unlikely to pay dividend for third year running - report

Dubai-based developer Emaar Properties is not likely to pay dividend for 2010 for the third consecutive year, Emirates 24-7 has reported. According to the invitation sent to shareholders to attend the annual general meeting on April 5, the developer's board of directors is to discuss the proposal regarding "non-distribution" of dividend for the fiscal year 2010. In 2008 and 2009, the company said it would reinvest its profits into "long-term growth."
