Orascom Construction joint venture unit wins $675m Qatar contract

Egypt's largest publicly traded construction firm, Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) has said a unit owned by its joint venture with Besix Group has won a $675m contract in Qatar, Bloomberg has reported. Six Construct Qatar, will build a phase of the Doha Convention Centre and Tower in a joint venture with Midmac Contracting. Six Construct's share of the contract is about $338m, Orascom said.
