Abu Dhabi firm tests intelligent advertising technology

A new outdoor advertising technology is being tested by Abu Dhabi Media Digital Out Of Home, part of the Abu Dhabi Media Co, The National has reported. The smart technology has the ability to recognise males from females, and adults from children, without storing images of consumers, general manager Andrew Wood said. Scheduled for launch in the second quarter of next year, the technology would be used purely to gather numerical data, to give clients feedback as to the gender and age of consumers viewing specific advertisements, he said.
