ADINC DDB organizes seminar on Human Capital Management by Dr. Shyam Giridharadas

Advertising International DDB (ADINC DDB) recently organized a seminar on ‘Managing Human Capital’ by Dr. Shyam Giridharadas, Adjunct Professor, The George Washington University and Managing Director Prism Consulting International.

Held on December 9 at Hormuz Grand Hotel, the seminar was attended by over 50 CEOs and HR professionals from different industries.

The Chief Guest at the event was Sheikh Hilal bin Hamad Al Ahsani, CEO, PEIE. Areej Vegetable Oils & Derivatives saog were the Presenters and Al Ansari Group the Co-Presenters of the seminar.

Dr. Shyam Giridharadas, used a case study to walk the participants through an integrated Human Capital strategy framework developed by him to provide a structured 8-step process to analyze human capital challenges faced by any organization. He says ‘I used an HBS case study on a situation anyone anywhere in the world would readily relate to as a situation seen or experienced first hand. Finding solutions together in groups, applying the principles is the most effective way for learning to stick. The animated discussion and participation was gratifying. It reflected the importance of the subject to all and I do hope each of them have taken away something that they can apply immediately to their own organization’.
