Region's top business news portal extensively covered mega events that attracted huge investments

AMEinfo had many roles to play in the past four months as the Middle East region went through the most crucial phase in its history.

The fall in oil prices triggered a wave of changes in the region. Fuel price deregulation in the UAE, airport privatisation in Saudi Arabia, the agreement on the pan-GCC value-added tax regime, deficit budgets of Oman and Saudi Arabia, just to mention a few.

AMEinfo was on top of these significant developments that shook the region in the last quarter of 2015. It also extensively covered mega events that attracted several hundreds of thousands of visitors and huge investments in the region.

AMEinfo hits Dubai International Motor Show!

AMEinfo chose the Dubai International Motor Show (DIMS) to leverage one of the important advertising segments of the website: the automotive industry. It is one of the region’s
international and the most influential automotive events, bringing together international and regional
brand managers, global manufacturers, distributors, industry specialists and key buyers, as well as
thousands of motor enthusiasts.

The objective was to position AMEinfo as a great source of business information. For the first time, an actual newsroom was created to conduct interviews, record them on video and post them on the website.

Our editorial team conducted 17 interviews on video with top automotive industry brand managers. The interviews were posted on the website, along with a series of tweets that were read, followed and shared by many. Officials from the following brands were interviewed at the booth.


AMEinfo and the World Economic Forum

The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The forum congregates and engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
A series of press releases and articles were published on AMEinfo and personal interviews were conducted during the three-day conference. Being associated with this high-class event, AMEinfo reinforced its positioning as the ultimate Middle East business resource site.
