DIFF begins film selection process

The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) has started selecting films for the eighth edition of the festival from over 1,760 entries received from 106 nations, Khaleej Times has reported. Entries from India dominated the list at 160 followed by France (109), Iran (106), Egypt (91), the US (87), the UAE (71) and Lebanon (58). Germany, Palestine, South Korea and Palestine are also well represented with more than 45 submissions each, while Morocco has 48 entries and Tunisia has 34.
