DIFF’S founding sponsors continue their support of the region’s leading film festiv

Festival’s Twelfth Edition to Take Place December 9-16, 2015.

The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) announced that founding sponsors Dubai Duty Free, Emirates Airline and Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian Resort of Dubai have once again come together to reaffirm their support for the DIFF.

Now in its second decade, DIFF is a globally recognized event celebrating filmmakers from around the world and showcasing the year’s strongest offerings in film from big budget Hollywood films, a diverse selection of Arab cinema, independent films and frontrunners for the coming awards season.

Running from December 9-16th, the annual festival is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Commenting on the continued support for the Festival and culture in the region, Chairman of The Dubai International Film Festival, Abdulhamid Juma, said: “Our Principal sponsors Dubai Duty Free, Emirates Airline and Madinat Jumeirah have been with us since the beginning. Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian Resort of Dubai and the official home of DIFF, is now synonymous with the Festival. DIFF is the leading film festival in the region. Since its inception in 2004, the Festival has served as an influential platform for Arab filmmakers and talent at an international level by spearheading the cinema movement in the region. The 12th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival will take place from December 9-16, 2015.
